me ensinou a enxergar os detalhes.

Winter arrived and all that occupied the simple motel's bedroom were our bodies thrown on a bed. I looked into his eyes and my thoughts were clear like them. It was where I wanted to be: wrapped in the arms that knew to be delicate when needed, although they were rude. It was warm there even when outside the wind was cold, dry and sharp. And if the wind insisted on entering, the warmth of his smile could warm up any cold that could dare appear.
I ran my hand through his hair and I could only think about how it was soft just as his hands, which always walked through my body cradling me until I could sleep after the long and tiring day. His scent was already so familiar that I was able to feel it even in my dreams.
He told me in detail how was the fall that presented him with a scar that made him a victim of family jokes for years and all I could think about was how the universe was kind to give this planet someone like him.
I was afraid and he hugged me, talking in my ear that I should not worry so much about the future. The man with red beard and blue eyes gave me far more than could be seen with physical eyes, humans and vain.
I tried to look into his heart and know if he felt the same as me; I wanted to find out if my arrival made butterflies fly bustling in his stomach as happened to me; I tried to read his thoughts and decipher if I lived there as he lived in mine; I couldn't. I understood that there were no shortcuts to know for sure what he felt, but I learned to read between the lines. I could see feelings in small actions because he taught me to see the details.
The time flew by his side and to passed unhurriedly when he was away, but time and space are nothing close to souls who are connected like ours.
It may not be here, now, but one day it will be. It may not be in a physical space, but inside me it will be ... forever.
